SureSkills in the Press > SureSkills Belfast team up with Dell

Belfast Telegraph, Tuesday 25 June 2002

A Belfast-based company has teamed up with computer giant Dell to offer local businesses the latest wireless technology.
The technology uses radio frequencies to transmit and receive data allowing firms to network computers and peripherals without the expense of installing cabling. One advantage is that equipment can be used from any site, either within the business or from a remote location. SureSkills, a professional services and training organisation, is working with Dell to ensure the wireless system is secure and cannot be hacked into by unauthorised outsiders. Greg Tierney, product marketing manager with SureSkills, said businesses today understood the advantages wireless networking could add to already dynamic and fast-paced environments. What they were trying to do was take any security concerns out of introducing such technology.
