Gerard O’Rourke – IT Manager, ComReg
Gerard O’Rourke has managed the delivery of IT services to ComReg for the last 6 years. With a background in Engineering Gerard’s enthusiasm in Technology has driven him to achieve numerous qualifications and he currently hold a Masters in Internet Systems and most recently a diploma in Cloud Strategy. Gerard’s focus on customer care has helped develop an IT service that is both operationally efficient and also a strategic asset to ComReg.
Gerard is undertaking a Flexible Desktop Proof of Concept (POC) that will help ComReg with strategic decisions on desktop and application delivery. Gerard plans to share the results and experiences with the audience.

Derek Monahan - Manager, IT Service Management, Aer Lingus
In contributing user experience to the event, Derek Monahan has an extensive background in both the theory and practice of centralised IT operations. At Aer Lingus, streamlined IT processes have the goal of maintaining strict control of projects and staff costs; in his previous role as IT Services Director at DHL, he led the transition of IT services

Kevin Reid - Chief Technical Officer, SureSkills
Kevin Reid has over 20 years IT experience and has worked for SureSkills for over 13 years. Kevin has designed, led and delivered some of the largest infrastructure projects within Ireland covering a variety of technologies. His current role as CTO covers technical solutions across the core technology area. Kevin specialises in data management solutions VMware and Microsoft Infrastructure products.

Bill Heffernan - Principle Service Management Consultant, SureSkills
Bill has more than 20 years of Service Management experience, planning and implementing IT service improvement initiatives in both the public and private sectors. Bill Heffernan’s expertise includes establishing and optimising best practice IT Service Management processes, developing and delivering Managed IT Services and conducting IT Service Delivery Gap Analysis. He is fully accredited in ITIL® Managers and ITIL® Expert curriculums and provides strategic and tactical consulting. Bill was recently awarded the Distinguished Professional in Service Management (DPSM)®.
