Case Study: Acquisition by Fortune 50 Company.
The success of a solution designed for a Fortune 50 company enabled them to reap the full benefit of their acquisition; a dynamic start-up company, resulting in rapid growth. The new company plugged a significant gap in our client's product portfolio, proving so successful a deal that a number of issues arose as a result. We got involved at the early stages of the acquisition, easing existing and potential tensions & turf wars between the two teams.
Through identifying underlying business needs & the overall objectives we identified the precise ways in which we could align the relevant training responses, beginning by focusing on the most critical groups. Concentrating on the gaps in knowledge and understanding of procedures we brought the US Sales & Support teams up to speed, defining business objectives along the way.
Our response? We assigned a team of five trainers and subject matter experts to the project, they trained to the highest level of certification available in the new technology. This team then created & delivered an extensive training programme across the Americas. Responding to the increase in demand for training, they delivered training across Europe & Asia using content provided by the acquired company's own training development team. Bringing more of the SureSkills Global Learning Services team on-board, we followed up with training for the broader technical support group. This program had consistently high participant satisfaction scores; a highly successful delivery program.
The success of our initial project scope led to our being commissioned to create two new advanced level courses for the product range, along with taking on all training for release of the new product.
