“Would your Projects run more efficiently by identifying business needs and determining their solutions before they occur costing you time and money?"
What is Business Analysis?
Business analysis is a business discipline of identifying business needs, value and determining solutions to business problems. Solutions often include a systems development component, but may also consist of process improvement, organizational change or strategic planning and policy development. The person who carries out this task is called the business analyst – they are critical to the business keeping the focus on business value.
When working toward the diploma the best route is as it’s laid out below with the Foundation cert last, as although there is some cross over it is there to tie it all together. However, any module can be done as a standalone course and in any order but the below is the recommended route as it is the natural progression.
Background on Business Analysis
Business Analysis is the practice to predict and plan aspects of a project, to properly support all business and stakeholder objectives but also to consider the needs of the wider company.

Delegates would need to do two core modules, which is Business Analysis Practice (SSI031) and Requirements Engineering (SSI036) as well as one Practitioner module which is the Modelling Business Processes.
To successfully complete the Diploma there is one additional course delegates would have to sit, a Knowledge Based Certificate.
