Successful SureSkills Simpana 10 Workshop

To celebrate Gartner naming CommVault a leader in its magic quadrant for Enterprise backup/Recovery software for a third consecutive year and with the release of Simpana 10 we ran a workshop style event in the Residence Members Club, Dublin on the 17th of October.

Simpana 10 extends CommVault's data protection and archiving leadership to deliver secure, self-service access from mobile devices, speed the adoption of cloud computing and extract value from Big Data.

As attendees on the day learned, for the first time, employees across the enterprise — not just IT managers — can easily repurpose data under management and quickly search, access, and create information to enable better decision making and collaboration. More than 300 new features in Simpana 10 combine to reduce risk, slash costs by up to half, reduce administrative overhead by up to 80 percent and lower aggregate support costs by up to 35 percent.

We showcased the new Simpana 10 features with some top presentations from Mark Bell, UK & Ireland Distribution Manager and Paul Baker, CommVault UK Director as well as SureSkills CTO Kevin Reid giving a very engaging SureSkills CommVault story overview.

All attendees left the event with a new in depth understanding of how Simpana 10 enables you not only to protect your data but also increase its business value with new search, access and analytics capabilities.
